Cessna 207 Brasil

Available on the Market Place - CLICK HERE TO BUY!

FLAG COLLECTION Aircraft number 2

The Flag Collection has always a country's flag as theme for the livery and the colors and elements used are always related to the country the aircraft represents. The model chosen for this collection, part of the Fantasy Series, is Dani Airplanes' D-207, the Cessna 207 "Stationair 7". It is GTFO enabled so you can go about your hauling in style, sporting your country's colors.
As second Flag Collection aircraft, I decided to make the Brazilian version, in honor of the aircraft maker, Daniels Fall, and all the many Brazilian fliers in SL.

The motifs used range from the Toucan representing the country's wildlife to Carnaval (look for the dancer!), Brasilia's "Dois Candangos" monument by Bruno Giorgi, establishing the link to one of the XX Century's most daring architectural feats (the construction from scratch in four years of the country's capital city using avant guarde architects and urban designers - Brasilia was inaugurated in April 21, 1960) and of course soccer, Brazil's five world titles present on the aircraft elevators, including the years and types of cups won on each.

On the top of the fuselage, this aircraft proudly displays the word "BRASIL" over which Rio de Janeiro's emblem, Christ the Redeemer, is shown. This Flag Collection aircraft is named "Meu Brasil é com S" (my Brazil is spelled with an 'S') from the song lyrics by João Gilberto and Rita Lee - which has a special meaning to all Brazilians... and it is spelled with an 'S'!

Cessna 207 Australia 2020

Available on the Market Place - CLICK HERE TO GET FOR FREE!

As the first Flag Collection aircraft, I decided to offer the Australian version, dedicated to raising awareness to the tragedy unfolding at this time in Australia. The devastating wild fires still raging there are causing unimaginable loss and creating an environmental crisis the proportions of which we still have no way to know exactly. This plane is my way of helping to be aware of this disaster that affects us all. And it is free so your only choice will be to fly her and let people know you also care.

On the sides of the fuselage there are two websites where you can find out how to help, if you can, and let others know about it too. The NSW Rural Fire Service donation site is there (see here) and also the Country Fire Authority or CFA (see here) are the two entities the plane has the address to, chosen because of their relation to firefighters active in Australia.

The aircraft shows several elements related to Australia and her wildlife, so punished by this tragedy, as well as the eight regions that make that great country, represented by their flags on both sides of the engine housing. The model was named "Advance Australia", the unofficial motto of the country and in several locations it expresses the wish "Never Again". Let us hope this disaster comes to an end and never happens ever again.

To learn about many other ways to help Australian first responders, victims and animals, you can follow THIS LINK. Thank you for caring. And thank you for flying these colors in this time of need.

Project F/A-18D Stingers / Direwolves

Stingers Boeing F/A-18D Hornets. A fantasy series fighter for a fantasy Air Wing.

Torbram Satinier is an old friend and :: 8SB :: client who usually goes for RCAF inspired aircraft liveries, but this time he wanted something different. A whole fantasy wing of fighter attack aircraft made of two squadrons and a training section. In order to do this I created two fictitious squadrons: the Stingers and the Direwolves, and added a trainer aircraft.

The result was plain to see on delivery day when all the aircraft were lined up for inspection at CinSal airport. Not your usual run of the mill job. Fourteen unique liveries for a very special client. You will see them around the skies of Second Life, and hopefully enjoy this art work that gave me so much pleasure to create. A true challenge and a great project. Mischief managed!

Project F/A-18C & D Hornet "Tsunami"

Following a growing line of liveries inspired by the one used on the HS-14 Chargers Ocean Hawk SH-60F "610" (which prompted the first commissioned livery of this line applied on an Alternate Series SH-60 (the "618"), followed by a Replica Series for Third Fleet), my old friend Viks, aka CuriousMinette, got hold of Shana Carpool's Hornet and sure enough ordered an exclusive two pack with this type of design, this time a Fantasy Series paint job, unaffiliated with the military, but based on U.S. Navy Hornet designs.

Like the "Chargers" Ocean Hawk, this livery is inspired by the most famous work of 19th century Japanese artist Hokusai, "The Great Wave" (Kanagawa-oki nami ura, "Under a wave off Kanagawa") following this livery line tradition, which came to be named the "Tsunami" line. Both a C and a D model were executed and it gives me great pleasure to know they will fly the skies of Second Life in the hands of a great aviation enthusiast and long time friend.

Both models, C and D, were supplied with a "clean" version with no pods and under wing tanks, and a payload VICE version compatible with all payload options.
